Surabathi was founded by Satheesh Kumar and Smitha with a vision to deliver pure, non-adulterated dairy products to families across South India.
Satheesh Kumar brings over 25 years of experience in leadership and regional management within the global logistics industry, having served in key business locations including Tiruppur, Tuticorin, Hyderabad, and Cochin. Throughout his career, he was inspired by numerous successful entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, reinforcing his long-standing ambition to build a meaningful enterprise of his own.
During the COVID lockdown period, the family established a dairy farm in Attapadi. As milk production steadily grew to over 600 litres per day, the opportunity to create high-quality value-added dairy products naturally emerged.
Smitha, a dedicated homemaker, pioneered the production of traditional ghee using cream from the family’s daily milk consumption. What began as a simple household practice soon evolved into a larger vision, laying the foundation for Surabathi’s range of value-added dairy products.
The growth of the farm and business has been supported by the entire family. Along with Satheesh and Smitha, their three children actively contributed to day-to-day farm and business activities while balancing their academic commitments, reflecting the family values and collective spirit behind Surabathi.
Today, Surabathi proudly supplies pure milk, curd, paneer, butter, ghee, and other dairy products while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer trust.
